Summary:
Aim: To assess the risk of death among individuals with intellectual disabilities who have undergone percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) insertion and presented to the specialist Speech and Language Therapy team in a Greater Manchester borough between 2000 and 2022. Additionally, the study aims to identify sociodemographic and clinical factors associated with this risk.
